Why did my ex say this? Was he only using me for sex and money?

I broke up with my ex because he was getting addicted to gambling and I refused to lend him any more money. I told him that I want to stay friends with him, but that he couldn't ask for $ and sex any more. When I said that he turned into a beast, saying that he won't take orders from a woman, that he has no feelings toward me, and other very hurting stuff. I am in shock. Did he really mean this? What should I do, I am so hurt!

Uh. yes. u did give him the sex n u did give him the money. stop denying and look at the facts
